Why You’ll Love Keto Chicken Lettuce Wraps:

  • Low-Carb: A fantastic choice for those who are reducing carbs but still want a filling meal.
  • Quick and Easy: Perfect for busy days when you want to get dinner on the table without spending hours in the kitchen.
  • Packed with Flavor: The seasoned chicken, crunchy lettuce, and a variety of optional toppings deliver a mouthwatering combination of textures and tastes.
  • Customizable: You can adjust the ingredients to suit your taste, making this recipe versatile and adaptable.

What is the Best Lettuce For Wraps?

My all-time pick is Romaine lettuce. First of all, it is easily available on the market and it is larger than Butter/Boston bibb lettuce, and secondly, it has a large leafy area to fit in my chicken stuffing with the delicious flavorful sauce.

But yes you can use bibb/butter lettuce, remember that is it smaller and you need a couple of more leaves to make it a complete meal but it has a natural built-in cup shape which is a plus for the stuffing.

Tips and Tricks for Perfect Keto Chicken Lettuce Wraps:

  • Use fresh, crisp lettuce: Romaine and iceberg lettuce are the best choices for wraps because of their firm, crisp texture that holds up well when filled with the chicken mixture.
  • Meal prep-friendly: You can cook the chicken and store the filling in the fridge for up to 4 days. Just assemble the wraps when you’re ready to eat.
  • Don’t overfill: Be careful not to overfill your lettuce leaves as they can tear. Less is more when it comes to the filling.
  • Flavor boost: Add a dollop of sugar-free mayo or avocado slices for extra creaminess.

Variations to Try:

  • Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps: Add more chili flakes, or drizzle sriracha sauce over the chicken for an extra spicy kick.

  • Vegetarian Option: Swap out the chicken for tofu or tempeh for a vegetarian-friendly version of this recipe.
