Tips and Tricks for the Perfect Keto Sweet and Sour Chicken
- Choosing the Right Sweetener: Not all low-carb sweeteners are created equal. Stevia, Monk Fruit, or Erythritol work best in this recipe as they mimic the sweetness of traditional sugar without the added carbs. Adjust the quantity of sweetener based on your preferred sweetness level.
- Crispy Chicken: If you want extra-crispy chicken, you can double coat the chicken pieces in almond flour for a thicker crust. Make sure the oil is hot enough to crisp up the chicken without making it greasy.
- Adjusting the Sauce: If you prefer a more tangy sauce, increase the amount of vinegar. For a sweeter taste, you can add a little more sweetener. Taste as you go and adjust the ingredients to suit your preferences.
